Board & Brush

No one in this couple is especially crafty. But we love the holidays and we enjoy a unique night out!

We had driven by Board & Brush many times. The website shows a plethora of fun projects to choose from. I am also a fan of BYOB, nothing like a little glass of wine to give a person a little unearned confidence in the art field.

There were a few other groups there, we were happy to have our own private table.

We did not know what we were in for. Let's just say...this was a lot more labor intensive than I had imagined. We have been to many Painting With a Twist classes, this was some next-level crafting. Luckily, you are encouraged to work at your own pace, have a sip, and utilize the two workers offering support when we needed it. So many times, we needed it.

That red stain had a bit of a horror movie vibe.

This type of activity fosters teamwork and gives you a chance to really work together as a couple.

We were so proud when we finished, we have two beautiful keepsakes and a new appreciation for wood work skills.
